Organisation
An organisation that builds around the business.
Alphtec exists to make systems that understand how a company actually works. We are not a catalogue of services, and this is not a founder page.
Software is how we hold it.
The business system is the product.
The studio
We design and build for companies whose work does not fit a standard product: websites, ERPs, CRMs, and the internal tools that hold sales and operations together. The same brief every time. A system that follows the organisation, rather than asking the organisation to follow it.
We are small on purpose. The method only works if someone is actually looking at how the company runs — not managing a production line of similar builds. Attention is the constraint. We take on work we can hold, and we decline work that would turn us into a queue.
Alphtec is not a founder story and not a catalogue of services. If you want a list of technologies first, start with the path instead. The tools are chosen after the process is clear. What we leave behind should be usable by the people who do the work — changeable as the company changes, without a second unofficial method appearing beside it.
What we believe
The business is not generic
A company has a way of selling, deciding, and finishing work. That way of working is the brief. Software is how we hold it.
Start with the path, not the feature
If a sale, an approval, or a handover is wrong in the system, the interface will not save it. We write the path down before we choose the tools.
Hold the work with attention
We take on work we can see through. A queue of parallel deliveries produces systems nobody owns. Fit requires fewer pieces of work, held properly.
A fit
Companies whose way of working is worth building around.
Typically a business that has already tried to fit itself into a standard tool, and is paying for that mismatch every day: in time, in error, in the people who still have to remember how it 'really' works. Industry matters less than whether the way you sell, decide, and finish work is specific enough to be worth holding on purpose.
Not a fit
A production line, or a product sold as-is.
We are a fit if the unofficial process is already the real one, and you want that to become the system.
If this is the kind of organisation you want to work with,
Bring the process that no longer fits the tools you use today.
